    Product Description:

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock and one of the most common types of sedimentary rock, consisting of sand-grain-sized rock fragments, minerals, and organic matter. Sand size ranges from 1/16 mm to 2 mm. It is formed by stone particles eroded by water and deposited on the river bed, and has become solid after hundreds of millions of years of accumulation. There are many varieties of sandstone in China, but they are mainly concentrated in Sichuan, Yunnan, Shandong, Hebei, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, and other places. The color of the sandstone is very rich, mainly red, green, gray, white, black, purple, yellow, cyan, and so on.

Sandstone is a high-quality natural stone with no light pollution and no radiation and no radioactive damage to the human body. It is moisture-proof, non-slip, sound-absorbing, light-absorbing, odorless, non-radiating, and non-fading. Sandstone is the most widely used stone for construction and carving. Buildings decorated with sandstone hundreds of years ago still have their charm, such as Notre Dame de Paris, the Louvre, the British Royal Palace, the US Congress, Harvard University, and so on. The noble and elegant temperament of sandstone and its hard texture have made it a wonderful flower in the history of world architecture. In recent years, Sandstone as a natural building and carving material has been respected by designers who follow fashion and nature and is widely used in commercial and domestic sculpture and decoration.

The sandstone materials we supply are of high quality, with low water absorption, good frost resistance, suitable hardness, and strong weathering resistance. Sandstone is uniform in grain and rich in color, making it suitable for engraving and slabs.
